Naresuan University, thriving to reach a better standing and visibility in global arena and aiming to become one of the top 250 universities ranked by QS World University before 2021, has offered financial assistantships for qualified applicants at all levels of studies since 2005. Nowadays, the university accommodates 142 international scholarship students, who are in turn expected to take part in as many university activities as possible and serve as research assistants to help drive commercialised research and innovations to meet demands of the market, nationally and internationally. With a view to increase academic/research capabilities of young citizens, the university has come up with Naresuan Competitive Grants for International Students, which goes in line with other two major scholarship schemes currently engaged by the university; i.e., 1) Scholarships under the Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and 2) Scholarships under Thailand International Postgraduate Program (TIPP) operated by Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA).

Young and enthusiastic learners are valuable resources to help develop academic and research advancements of higher education institutions around the globe, each of which is trying at its best to elevate international standing through strategic internationalisation plans, shape better globalised visibilities to attract more attentions from prospective international students, and create inviting learning environments to assure that students’ campus life is as warm, secure, and safe as their homes. Specifically weighting on postgraduate studies, this will promote a number of quality research papers, through close supervision of advisers, reflecting from values of impact factors and citations indexed in ISI or SCOPUS.
Applicant’s qualifications:
1. Be a bachelor degree holder (for master study) or a master degree holder (for Ph.D. study)
2. Must have excellent academic records
3. Must hold a minimum of English proficiency score from either TOEFL or IELTS (attached in documents)
